There will be TWO ways to experience it. Friday night’s Gala will be a chance to “dress up” with optional black tie, and Sunday afternoon “dress down” and come as you are. Come to both to show off your wardrobe!

Last year’s concert was rocked by a tornado. If you thought that was fun, wait until you see what we have planned this year. Our Resident Opera Artists will sing music from Broadway, Americana, anthems, and maybe even a little country. The orchestra pays tribute to the music that has kept America great, reminding us of our musical heritage. Bring a flag to wave and snacks in case of a hurricane warning!

This program will feature opera, folk, pop, and our children’s favorite songs. Middle school science teacher Caitlin Cunningham will help us discover how the voice works and explain why some of us sing high, and some sing low. Whatever happens, we can ALL “sing a song!”

Symphony 40 in G minor showcases his instrumental brilliance while also portraying his lyrical soul. The Resident Opera Artists perform vocal arias from across the composer’s spectrum, and MSO principals Staskevicius and O’Hara perform a virtuosic duo by Bottesini.
